Cropped Flares

Autumn is about to fall back and that means we spring forward and buy new trends and styles. Big this spring 2016 are cropped flares. If you only buy one thing this Spring make it the cropped flare, which I’m loving. Great for petite girls, and boyish shape figures to give body balance and proportion. I have no hips, so these suit me quite nicely if I do say so myself. Showing off a bit of ankle is very sexy but if I’m totally honest (forgive me if I offend), but cankles’ don’t go with cropped flares.

How To Wear

1. Wear a Bardot top with cropped flares for that spring romantic look, great for a first date, where it looks like you haven’t tried too hard.

2. Try wearing a printed cropped flare and a Broderie Anaglaise Shirt, taking you to #WorkWorkWorkWorkWork (Love that song) and of course for after work drinks, style with a pair of flat lace ups, for travelling through town whilst looking effortlessly chic.

3. Go for a nude leather look top, cropped tailored trousers and a pair of statement trainers for a casual luxe look.

In addition, I was having trouble styling them with shoes, I found that you need nothing obscuring the ankle as it makes you look short and stubby, I’m 5’3 and vertically challenged so this is a tried and tested FACT, if however you are taller than me (which isn’t hard) then do what you heart desires tall women always look great in anything, jealous.
I’ve picked three pairs of cropped flares and styled them with flat Mules, lace ups and a pair of statement trainers.
By all means play around with the look yourself, but I personally did not like them with heels, but ultimately I love the cropped flare as a casual or smart casual look for spring.
