This is my summer #outout makeup style which I’m currently loving right now, and I wanted to share the makeup products I used to achieve this look .

LASHES

This is by far the best lash enhancer on the market, giving instant glam in minutes. Priced at £23 it is worth every penny. Your friends will have serious lash envy if you wear this. This is a great product to use if you have been unfortunately blessed with shorter lashes than your Brother or Boyfriend.

FEATURES:

With a new brush and a fresh look, our proprietary, hypoallergenic formula brings life to tired lashes. Its two international patents pending leaves little wonder about why women are talking about which lash enhancer they use.*Averaged results observed in independent laboratory testing—384.5% increase after one application; greater than 2,000% after three applications when compared against bare lashes. BROWS

I love the Eyelure Eyebrow Pencil above every other brand. The pencil texture is firm, giving you control over how much to add. I find some eyebrow pencils have quite a  soft texture and you can end up looking like Dracula. Eyelure is a great build-able pencil and the soft but firm rounded brush on the other end, is excellent for blending and keeping brow hair in position. The crayon has good staying power and doesn’t melt throughout the day.

FEATURES:

Enriched with Rosemary oil and Vitamin E to promote healthy hair growth. Plus Rephair – to reinforce the hair fibre. Source

EYES

I am a big fan of Mac Cosmetics x9 eye shadows, they are definitely value for money since one shadow alone can cost £9-£16 depending on where you purchase but this works out as £3.33 per shadow. I love neutral toned shadows as they make your eyes look bigger. I have used Rice Paper from the Amber Times Nine palette for a subtle shadowed eye.

FEATURES:

A well-edited palette featuring a colour wave of amber hues. Source

collection 2000 eyeliner

I top my shadow with two liners by Collection 2000 Extreme 24 Hour Felt Tip Eye liner. I find liquid liners can be messy. The pen gives control and precision and it’s great for winging it, in a rush. I use blue on the lid and a bit of black just on the outer lid for a bit more definition. This does what it says on the tin, it lasts for 24 hours and doesn’t smudge. This product is £2.99 and is top dollar for a drug store beauty item.

FEATURES:

The fast-drying versatile felt tipped pens give your make up look an instant burst of colour.

FACE

dior primerDior Pore Minimising Skin Refining Primer, is currently quite a new product for me, and definitely is #holygrail make up product. I reviewed this a couple months back when I first purchased it and I am still as much in love with it now as I was then. This light formula goes on like silk and makes your make up glide on and stay on. It reduces pigmented areas given the appearance of a flawless face.

FEATURES:

A sheer, ultra-fine formula, enriched with optical correctors and “soft focus” pigments, that evens out and mattifies the complexion and erases blemishes with a weightless finish. Source

For a concealer I use MAC Cosmetics Pro Longwear. This has to be the only concealer that I have ever used that does not leave wrinkles under my eyes after prolonged wear. This concealer gives medium to full coverage and doesn’t have a drying effect. I use this one shade lighter than my foundation to contour and brighten and highlight  my eyes and cheeks.

FEATURES:

Colour-true formula lasts up to 15 hours.  Helps conceal and correct the look of under-eye circles, and discolorations. Source

Alongside the concealer I am wearing MAC Cosmetics Pro Longwear Nourishing Waterproof Foundation. This foundation is oil free, which is great fro nights out and will not leave you looking like a sweaty betty. It gives medium to full coverage and can also be used as a concealer. A little goes along way with this product.

FEATURES:

Neither rain nor tears can budge this oil-free watertight product that actually repels moisture from the surface of the face. Source

sleek blusherFor blusher I use Sleek Blush By 3 they have a range of different colour palettes but I particularly like the Lace palette because it suits my skin tone. The blusher is build-able, I really like Sahara because it’s matte and compliments a contoured face. The shimmer in the palette does a great job enhances, highlighting and brightening the face and more so when wearing lipstick.

FEATURES:

Layer the varying finishes for greater intensity, or apply alone for a burst of full-on pigmentation.
The versatile shimmer shades can be used to highlight areas of the face that naturally catch the light for a luminous finish. Source

LIPS

I’m very much into Orange Lips at the moment, gone is the Ruby Woo, Hello Flirty Orange. I find that Orange lips till have that wow factor and it’s very youthful which is never a bad thing. I have used GOSH Flirty Orange Lip Liner  and Velvet Touch Lipstick 153.

FEATURES:

Lip Liner: It can be used on its own as lipstick if an extremely matt and durable colour is required. Source

Lipstick: Contains light reflecting pigments which gives the lips a bright and shiny look. The colour pay-off is fantastic and stays on the lips for hours and hours Source
